Santa Cruz Tony Rice
The Tony Rice signature model represents over 30 years of collaboration between the worlds foremost flat picking icon and SCGC. Never intended to be a copy of Tony’s 1934 Martin D-28, the TR model is voiced to showcase his stellar lead work, with influences from Clarence White to John Coltrane. This guitar delivers just what the contemporary flat picking artist needs: substantial treble and mid range for rapid single line lead, clean note separation for definition and traditional bass boom, without the woofy bottom end of some pre war dreadnaughts. Master grade Indian Rosewood and old Sitka spruce give this guitar a professional presence at an attainable price. List $4635. Call for sale pricing. |

Santa Cruz Vintage Southerner
The Vintage Southerner is designed to incorporate the best features of many of the old slope shoulder guitars of the past. The short scale puts the bridge in the optimal position to produce the comforting growling presence of an old blues guitar, plus the lesser sting tension and shorter reach make it a joy to play. The VS will respond with considerably more refined qualities than the original slope shoulders and lend itself to many styles of play. The SCGC sunburst is second to none. Its dark mahogany body and satin neck make this one of the best looking guitars ever. $4275 |

Santa Cruz Dreadnaught
The strength of the typical dreadnaught is its power and volume. This came at the expense of a too thin treble and midrange. The D model’s tapered and scalloped bracing gives it great balance through the mid and treble ranges without sacrificing the bass. This guitar will blow away any of the mass produced factory guitars out there. You need to play this one before you settle on that D-28 from Guitar Center. Sale price $4275 |

Santa Cruz 1929-00
This is simply the coolest little guitar ever. The 1929-00 gets nothing but praise from every guitar magazine and player who holds one. Based on the depression era guitars, it is both simple and elegant. The all mahogany body with simple black stripe and tortoise rosette, instantly catch your attention. You have to pick it up, then 45 minutes later you realize that your still sitting there, captivated. If you ever wanted a small bodied guitar, this is the one. Its construction is so clean and it’s voicing so pure, we don't believe you will find a vintage guitar that is better. $3550 |

Ken Bailey Guitars
Peter Rowan Model
This is the guitar played by Peter Rowan in his bluegrass band. It has a Sitka Spruce top with Indian Rosewood body. The internal bracing is forward shifted in the prewar style and is made of strong Adirondack spruce. The sound hole is enlarged for greater mid and high range balance. The body is bound in curly maple to match the herringbone trim. The bound ebony fret board has only a 12th fret marker dot. This guitar is loud and well-balanced. It is the perfect choice for live jamming and stage performance. Mr Rowan chose this guitar because his band plays through microphones only — without stage monitors — and they must hear each other live. Bailey guitars are hand-built one at a time, and they sound better than any factory guitar. If it does not make you supremely happy we will refund your money.
P.R. Model $3,000 |

Ken Bailey Guitars
Bailey OMF Model
Ken is a fan of the 12-fret guitar, and this is his favorite design. This one has a Sitka spruce top and is braced with Adirondack spruce. The body is highly figured Indian Rosewood trimmed with Curly Koa binding. We used an old-style pyramid bridge and a Brazilian Rosewood bridge plate to give it a punchy, clear tone that can break through a noisy jam session. (Jam sessions break out a lot around the shop and hold up production) This guitar can be made with a slot head or regular peg head and any kind of wood combination. If you are a fan of the 12-fret sound, you will like this guitar. Rosewood and Sitka models are $2,700 |
